SF45 Anti-Fog For Car Windshields

I charge my car and notice the windshield gets foggy in the winter so I wanted an anti fog solution. This one works as you can see in the pictures but leaves streaks instead of fog so it’s not perfect. I tried it on my glasses but that didn’t work well at all so I think the windshield is the best use for it. When I first put it on, I could see lots of streaks so I used the car’s heat to defog the windows and that dried it nicely. After that I let the windows fog up again and you can definitely see the difference because I only did the left side. The left side is streaky but not foggy while the right is very foggy. Both sides are pretty bad so while this technically works, the results are not that great.

I followed the instructions to apply this to a bathroom mirror and my eye glasses. The mirror always fogs up when I shower and my glasses sometime fog up when I’m wearing a face mask.The product left a film on both the mirror and my glasses that reduced clarity a lot. After a few minutes, I used a dry paper towel to rub my glasses and this worked to eliminate the film. I tried to fog my glasses by breathing on them and they stayed clear. The bathroom mirror is going to take a lot more rubbing. It’s clearing up in places but I may just have to wash it.I don’t know if the problem is the product itself or using too much. The instructions say to apply it generously. I’ll try again (in a small area) using less to see if this helps reduce the film. I’m not up to putting this on the inside of my windshield yet (too much work).The product description says it will last up to 3 months. I assume this is only if the glass isn’t washed. I frequently wash my eye glasses so I expect I’d have to reapply this every time. I don’t think the product is worth the trouble.

Haven't had any mornings with enough moisture to fog up the windows yet. The directions are not clear but it does come with 2 applicators, which aren't explained how to use. Only 3 star's because I am not sure if it works yet and the instructions, or lack of.

I noticed our car's windshield getting foggy from time to time, so I thought I'd try this product. I put it on as instructed and I was certain I didn't do it right because, even when dry, the windshield was really streaky and filmy making it nearly impossible to see. I let it dry for nearly 10 minutes and still nothing. So, I wiped it all off with window cleaner.After reading more reviews, I am not the only one who had similar issues. I didn't end up using the product and I don't recommend using it. However, one reviewer did have success after using their defrost to dry the product after application. Maybe that's the trick? Anyhoo, carefully read these reviews before purchasing.

I was confused about how to make the product work. I used it on a bathroom mirror and used the pad to spread the solutions. Did work great.

I wear glasses, which fog up easily, especially when wearing a facemask. I was excited to find and order anti-fog for glasses. Upon opening the box, I noticed that it was a small bottle of 50ml. I sprayed the SF 45 anti-fog solution on my glasses and cleaned them well with a microfiber towel. The SF 45 left a streak or a residue on my glasses, so I had to rinse and clean my glasses. I am very picky about the clear view when I am wearing glasses.I tried it on my car glasses to verify that anti-fog works. I used the included pad to clean my car glasses. Well, it worked a lot better on my car than on my eyeglasses. There is some residue or streak, but it’s a lot better than the fog. I don’t know how long the anti-fog visibility will last, but the description states three months. Overall, the SF45 anti-fog spray is average, and the item description was somewhat accurate.

Many people do not know how to apply products in a “Cross-hatch” method. If you are not familiar with car detailing – and most people are not – you will not apply this correctly unless you watch a video or ask someone else to show you how to do it. This is like many other car detailing products, similar to a polish or wax, which needs to be applied using a specific method (the cross-hatch method), on a CLEAN surface. If you do not follow the specific process detailed in the description, this item will leave a residue that many people are complaining about in the other reviews. KEEP IN MIND you have to shake the bottle first! This can be another potential reason as to why it didn’t work for some other people. I personally detail my car on a regular basis, and as a result, I had a great experience with this product! I do find that it works and it works well. I haven’t had any issues with fog since applying it on the inside of my front windshield, whereas before I would always have issues with that. For the price, this is a very affordable product, being priced at $18.99 at time of review. Many anti-fog solutions are double the price. I recommend it.Hope this review was helpful.

Used this product on my snowmobile helmet and it ended up working great as my windshield doesn't fog up like it used too. Please note to read the instructions first as I didn't and had a small mess that I wiped all of it off and then reapplied it like I should have the first time. The second time applying it the anti-fog solution worked great and went on nicely after I read the instructions.

Works- just spray the applicator pad and wipe on not the device or object directly as it leaves a residue so less is actually more which means use sparingly as a little goes a long ways! I’ve used on glasses, iPads, phones and protects well without interference but wipe quickly and evenly as it dries pretty fast.

WOrks well for windshields and even on bathroom mirror.

This has worked so far. Haven't had many foggy days to know for sure that it works 100% but so far so good!

I wear prescription glasses underneath my ski goggles when I snow ski. I applied this anti-fog solution to my prescription eye glasses and spread it on with the applicator and let it dry. The film that dried on my prescription glasses was noticeably thick. I never got a change to see if the solution made my glasses fog up, because I could no longer see out of my glasses. I was able to wash off the anti fog solution and I was able to use my glasses again, but I will stick to the anti-fog solution I have always used. This anti-fog solution did not work out for me.
