1. This degreaser works, but the directions on the bottle are different from the directions found on the Amazon website.2. The bottle indicates using full strength, the web site says use 4 parts water to 1 part degreaser.3. I used this full strength on my gas blower which was caked with grease. See photos.4. I waited a couple of minutes then blasted with a garden hose.5. It did remove most of the grease but left some areas still caked with grease but I was able to easily remove the grease from those areas by wiping with a paper towel.6. I did not try using a diluted solution since the full strength did not remove all the grease without extra effort.7. If you were to use this degreaser in the diluted state you would essentially have 64 ounces (half gallon) of degreaser which would be on the expensive side compared to some name brand degreasers found in big box stores
My partner loves this to clean his trucks engine area. It’s shined it up so great, and it’s safe to use. Once the winter weather stops and he cleans it again I will post a photo updating. Highly recommended!
Took a trip to Moab and got all sorts of the finest red sand in every crevice of my bike, I I thought that there was no better way to test this out than to use it to try to clean my chain.This chain literally started out still mobile, but very sticky...any lube had just jelled with the sand to create a pretty thick paste. I didn't even bother brushing the crud out...just held a rag under the chain and started spraying while it was pedaling, and then I gave it about 5 minutes. No kidding: when I started cleaning it off, the gunk was just sloughing off the sides and I barely had to do any rubbing. The rollers between the plates all move extremely free now and the chain is actually getting bright.Once this dries, I'll just hit it with some lube and try to get back out on the trail.Highly recommendedParenthetically, by mistake I also got the opportunity to try out Wash & Whips ceramic coating spray, and can tell you that it leaves an amazing finish on a glossy carbon fiber finish of a mountain bike. Do yourself a favor and pickup both of these products...heck...pick them all up...these guys seem like a bunch of great blokes and they are making great finishes!
Unlike other engine cleaners, this did the job of removing stubborn grime and grease. I like cleaners that clean without having to use the whole bottle every time. I used about 4-5 ounces in my box yet engine with a microfiber and a small brush to get into the books and crannies.I recommend this cleaner for retailers looking to spot clean their engine bays without having to spend half a day scrubbing or breaking out the whose to rinse their engine bay. 👍
The Wash&Whips Green Hell Engine Machine Cleaner & Degreaser is a versatile product that can be used for both commercial and home use. Compared to other engine degreasers, this one has a nice citrus scent to it. I did use this to remove oils stains from my driveway and it did a great job at lifting most of the oil off. It is also great at removing dirt and grime and leave the engine with a shine to it.
Giving this 4 stars as I received the ceramic coating. That works great and has made my car really shine after washing it.
Well, I received a bottle of WASH&WHIPS today. I had never heard of this brand before, but since I do a lot of DIY work on my cars and trucks, I thought I would give it a try. This white, milky liquid was pretty much useless for cleaning and degreasing as described by the seller. HOWEVER, if you put it on as a coating on your freshly washed and dried car, it seems to be an excellent protectant for your paint. It goes on and buffs off really easily, and the hydrophobic properties are amazing. Water just beads up really nicely!
I changed my brakes, oil, oil filter and air filter in 2 of my cars this weekend. I used this cleaner to clean out the engine bay as well. The stuff works well - basically spray it on, let it sit for 30-45 seconds, and then either spray with a pressurized hose (cover all electronics!) or wipe with a cloth. I also used it on the dirty side of the hood of my vehicles as well. Overall, recommend!
This was able to help me clean up a SUPER Dirty lawnmower engine with ease. Spray it on, let it soak for a few minutes and sprayed it off, then able to use rags for final clean up. Did a good job at getting at the caked on grease and dirt! 10/10

This product is a must have in any garage. I'm currently restoring a 1968 Firebird and there are plenty of greasy areas to test this product on. A few sprays of this and decades of grease lifted right off the floorpan effortlessly. I will definitely look for more products from Wash&Whips. The packaging is great and pump spray works without any problems.
I received ceramic coating instead of engine degreaser. Wash and whips seems to be a good upcoming company for detail products. I’ve had a few of their products so far and I like them all. Nice professional looking bottles and products. All their products seem to do what they’re intended for, and does it well. I highly recommend wash and whips detailing products.
was cleaning new wood working machines, which they coat the cast iron parts to prevent from rusting, and it requires a tough degreaser, did a great job.... price is fair considering how well it worked....4.5 stars....recommended
I tried to clean the my bicycle’s axle using this degreaser when it starts making noise while riding. Apparently the noise on my bike is still there, but I see the axle looks cleaner than before. I will try it on other tools and hope that it will yield good results.
I have been using this to clean my bike parts and I have found that it is good at removing grease but it takes a little bit to fully penetrate (or a second pass / scrub).It seems a little less harsh on the hands to use than most others that I have used, but it is still it is good to wear gloves.I was a little surprised that it did not say anything about being biodegradable as that is kinda common place now a days. So likely it would not be a good idea to use in an area that drains to plants or grass.Overall the cleaner is good at removing grease and grime, but I wish it was biodegradable.
I don’t want to knock this product but because the customer, us, are affected…3 stars. This looked like a good product, unfortunately I didn’t receive. No further comment. Hope you have better luck.
Just spray thoroughly, let it soak the area for about a minute, then wipe it down with towels. If there are heavy build-up, I will recommend using a small brush first then wipe it down. It is a great degreaser.
This degreaser/cleaner has worked pretty much as expected. It's able to fight through some pretty tough grease which is the main purpose. The bottle is a little bit on the pricey side but a little bit can go a long way in my opinion!
