The PolarCool Evaporative Cooling System provides spot and area cooling where you need it, when you need it. Evaporative cooling is a time-tested and efficient means of reducing air temperature. It is especially useful when the space to be cooled is well ventilated.
Evaporative cooling requires just two factors to work: water and moving air. When air is forced through a water-saturated medium, some of the water is pulled away and quickly evaporates. This draws heat from the moving air, thereby lowering the ambient temperature.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

As an authorized PolarCool dealer, we uphold their official policy. Please read carefully:

  • Request Authorization
    Email returns@garagerebel.com within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number and reason for return.
  • Warranty Returns: Warranty items will be assigned an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number and an address to send the part to the factory for review (RGA Number must be printed in large lettering on package). Customer will be responsible for shipping the replacement part back to the factory. Once the part is received by the factory and confirmed a warranty item, a replacement will promptly be shipped out.
    a. For faster replacements we encourage you to purchase a replacement part while returning your warranty item. Upon review you will be credited for your purchase.
  • Standard Returns: Standards returns are subject to a 35% restock fee and shipping cost to return the product. Product crating is substantial and necessary to ship the units across the U.S. without damage. It is required that if opened the crating should be reconstructed to its original form. If the unit returns damaged the return may be refused. Standard returns will be assigned an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number and an address to send the part to the factory for review (RGA Number must be printed in large lettering on package).
  • Ship to Warehouse
    Once your RGA is approved, we’ll send you the exact return address and any special packaging instructions. Ship freight‐insured and obtain a tracking number—you’ll need this if anything goes missing in transit. Garage Rebel will not be held responsible for lost or damaged returns.
  • Inspection & Refund
    To be eligable for a refund, items must be in original packaging and new conditions with all hardware, manuals, warranties, registration cards, and packaging intact. Refunds typically process within 5–7 business days after your product has been received and inspected.
  • Unauthorized or Non-Compliant Returns
    Returns sent without RGA approval—or that arrive damaged, incomplete, or not in resalable condition—will be refused and shipped back to you freight-collect.

WARRANTY

As an authorized PolarCool dealer, we uphold their official policy. Garage Rebel does not provide any additional warranties.

  • THREE YEAR WARRANTY: For three years from the date of invoice, PolarCool (a division of HH Technologies, Inc.) warrants the motor and any electrical components of the PolarCool Evaporative Cooling System (“the Product”) that are found, upon examination by factory-authorized personnel, to be defective in material and/or workmanship.
  • LIFETIME WARRANTY: PolarCool also warrants the metal housing of the Product for the full lifetime of the Product to the extent it is found, upon examination by factory-authorized personnel, to be defective in material and/or workmanship. The Lifetime Warranty on the Product housing does not cover ordinary wear and tear.
  • If any of the original component parts, including the Product housing, exhibit any defect(s) covered by this Limited Warranty within the applicable time periods defined above, the same may be repaired or replaced at PolarCool’s discretion.
  • This Limited Warranty excludes any labor, equipment, transportation, and/or service expenses that may be required to remedy the warranted defect(s); all such charges must be funded by the purchaser. Neither the Product nor any of its component parts are to be returned for repair or replacement until they have been inspected and/or a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number has been issued. Complaints are to be directed first to the authorized distributor who sold the Product.
  • This Limited Warranty is void if: a) the Product and/or any of its component parts are found to have been misused, abused, or otherwise tampered with by unqualified personnel; b) any of the Product’s component parts have been replaced by anything other than authorized PolarCool replacement parts; c) the Product has been modified in any way other than officially sanctioned upgrades made by qualified personnel using authorized PolarCool accessories; d) the Product has not been appropriately registered by its original purchaser; or e) the customer cannot provide proof of purchase indicating them to be the Product’s original owner.
  • This Limited Warranty is made solely to the original purchaser of the Product. It cannot be transferred.
  • This Limited Warranty is in lieu of any and all other representations and/or warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability and/or fitness for a particular purpose. The remedy set forth by this Limited Warranty shall be the exclusive remedy available to any entity. No entity has the authority to bind PolarCool to any representation or warranty other than this Limited Warranty. PolarCool shall not be liable for any damages or losses resulting from any application of the Product or caused by any defect, failure, or malfunction of the Product.
  • This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have additional rights, as some areas do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. The above limitation or exclusion may therefore not apply to you.

FAQ

Where do I find the part number to my Polarcool?
• Stainless and powder coated units the part number is located on the label placed directly below the control panel.
• On an older model the label may be located under the hinged lid, behind the pads, and over the spray bar.
• On the “Plastic” model it is located on the right hand side on the back of the unit.

What are the actual weights and dimensions of the unit itself?

What size area would unit cool?

What is the difference in PolarCool fans and regular fans or an air conditioner?
The PolarCool, which uses Evaporative Cooling provides spot and area cooling where it is needed. Evaporative cooling is a tested and efficient way to reduce air temperature by drawing incoming air across a wet surface. Evaporative cooling only requires two factors to be effective; water and moving air. When the warm air is moved across the wet surface some of the water evaporates. This causes the air coming out of the PolarCool to be cool. A regular fan and air conditioners use a lot of power to drive compressors and are not normally mobile.

Can I put my PolarCool in my office or work place?
PolarCool fans can be used anywhere that has a good flow of fresh air. PolarCool fans require flow larger than that of cracking a window in an office. The best place for PolarCool fans to be used is in a well ventilated area with a large air flow such as: a garage, workshop, greenhouse, automotive service areas and Body shops. PolarCool fans can also be used outdoors at sporting events or fitness areas.

I Ran My Evaporative Cooler For The First Time and There is an Unpleasant Odor.
When new, it is possible that a small amount of aromatic molecules may evaporate along with the water molecules, which could be detected as a slight smell. This scent lessens in time. PolarCool products does not, in any way, allow harmful chemicals to be evaporated into the air. Refresh Tablets are offered and can help with this problem.

What Assembly is Required?
None. Most PolarCool portable evaporative coolers are ready to use right out of the box. The 18” PolarCool unit does require the casters to be installed. All units has a piece of tape holding the float valve in a safe position for shipping that will need to be removed prior to operation. 

What Is The Amount Of Moisture Produced?
An increase in humidity of approximately 2% to 5% is produced, depending on the temperature and humidity of the environment. This increase is not noticeable in a ventilated area where the air produced by the cooler is exhausted.

How Do I Prepare My PolarCool Evaporative Cooler For Storage?
Drain the unit, dry out the evaporative media, cover the evaporative cooler and store in a dry place. We also suggest storing it in one of PolarCool Covers for storage.
